Choosing a men's necklace

Chain or pendant? Chains are the everyday foundation: Cuban, Figaro, Rope, Paperclip and Helix links, from a fine 2 mm to a bold 7 mm. Pendants add meaning, with compass, cross and symbol designs, each supplied on a 24 inch (60 cm) chain.

Which length? 20 inches (50 cm) sits around the collarbone, 22 inches (55 cm) just below it, and 24 inches (60 cm) falls to the upper chest, the natural spot for a pendant. Not sure? 22 inches suits most men.

Which finish? Silver is clean and easy to wear every day. Gold is warmer and makes more of a statement. Black and onyx pieces are darker and understated.

Our jewellery is made from polished 316L stainless steel. Our gold pieces have an 18k gold PVD coating, which is harder-wearing than traditional plating.

Not really. Our pieces are made for real life, so showers, the gym and the beach are all fine. A wipe with a soft cloth brings the shine back, and a rinse after salt water or chlorine helps them last.

Obviously, don't go nuts and start scraping your jewellery across rocks and hitting it with a hammer.  If you keep to normal day to day wear then it'll be fine. 

Our pieces are made with stainless steel (316L grade), a popular choice for sensitive skin.
